Meihe UHF RFID care labels are designed to be sewn into clothing and can carry the same printed information as a normal care label. The built-in RFID function allows garments to be identified electronically during production, warehouse handling, retail stocktaking and supply chain management. The labels are made with lightweight and flexible nylon material and can be sewn directly into the garment or folded before sewing. Standard and custom sizes are available, and we can also provide printing, RFID encoding, variable data matching and corresponding data files before shipment.

The labels are designed for normal retail garment washing and drying conditions rather than industrial laundry or high-temperature linen washing. For projects with specific reading-distance requirements, sample testing with the actual garment and RFID reader is recommended before bulk production.
Best For
Garment Production and Identification: RFID care labels can remain with the garment from production through warehousing and retail. Each item can carry both printed care information and an individual RFID identity.
Warehouse Inventory: UHF RFID allows multiple garments to be identified. This can support faster receiving, stock checking and shipment processes when the labels are used with a compatible UHF RFID system.
Retail Stocktaking: For clothing stores, RFID care labels can be used for regular inventory counting, product finding and stock management.
Supply Chain Tracking: The RFID data can also be matched with printed barcodes, QR codes or serial numbers for use across different stages of the supply chain.

Common Questions
Can these RFID care labels be washed with normal clothing?
Yes. They are designed for normal garment machine washing and normal tumble drying. Because washing conditions vary, sample testing on the actual garment is recommended before bulk production.
Are these the same as industrial laundry RFID tags?
No. This product is designed mainly for retail garments and normal clothing care conditions. Industrial laundry and linen management normally require a different tag structure and higher resistance to repeated high-temperature washing.
Can you print normal care label information?
Yes. We can print washing symbols, size, material composition, country of origin, logo, product information, barcode, QR code, serial number and other required content.
Can every RFID label have different data?
Yes. Each label can have individual RFID encoding and different printed variable data according to the customer's data file.
Can the RFID data match the printed barcode or serial number?
Yes. EPC or TID can be matched one-to-one with printed barcode, QR code, serial number or other product identification data. A corresponding data file can also be provided.
Can you supply the labels without encoding?
Yes. The labels can be supplied blank for customer encoding or pre-encoded before shipment.
Which UHF chip should I choose?
UCODE 8 and UCODE 9 are common options. The final choice depends on the existing RFID system, required data format, reading performance and budget.
What is the reading distance?
There is no single fixed reading distance. It depends on the RFID chip, antenna size, reader power, garment position, packing method and surrounding environment.
Can the size be customized?
Yes. In addition to 54 × 34 mm, 73 × 20 mm and 45 × 20 mm, other sizes can be produced according to the garment design and RFID antenna requirements.
Can the label be folded before sewing?
Yes. The label can be sewn directly into the garment or folded before sewing, depending on the garment design and available space.
Can I test samples before ordering?
Yes. Stock samples can be provided for testing, with courier cost paid by the customer. Customized samples can also be discussed according to the required printing, RFID chip and data configuration.

Small trial orders and volume production are both available. To prepare a suitable RFID care label, you can simply tell us the application, quantity, preferred size, printing requirements and delivery country. If you already know the RFID chip or encoding format, you can include that information as well. If you are not sure which size or chip to choose, send us your garment application and RFID reader information and we can help you confirm the appropriate option before production.
